Here are a few pictures for some of the items I either got at an auction last Thursday or at a yard sale I went to on Saturday. The auction was an estate auction for a 90 something man. By the looks of things he or his wife never threw anything away. I stayed for the smalls but did not stay for the primitive furniture. It was going to be a couple hours before they even got to that as they had farm machinery to sell first. I did get a great train set, but did not take a picture before I took it to Wolf Creek Antiques, where I have one of two booths that I have.
I did however get the small washing machine thing with the dishes that are in front of it. Two horse collars, and egg basket, some yellow bowls, a dresser set, the ones with the brush, mirror and comb. Mine does not have a comb. I'll try and get a picture of that and put on here.
At the yard sale I got the gray chair with the peeling paint, the sled table, the flower basket, the candle holders, empty spools, the hat box and the beauty shop display. I was surprised those item were still there they were not very much. I think I only spent 30.00 if that. I know the chair was a $1.00, the sled table $10.00 and the display was $10.00.
Well I better go I need to get supper started for my hungry farmer's.
Thanks for stopping by.
Lisa
