EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!
I have been very busy this week getting ready for my first auction at the building that my DH and I have been trying to purchase. We have not purchased the building as of yet, still waiting, but I did however rent it. In a previous post I mentioned that I was going to use half the building for an auction house and the other for my antique store. Well, let me just say I don't have room for both. I will post pictures later but it is full, with everything. I have a local Amish lady making baked goods to sell and another person is doing the concession stand for now. I hope to do it myself with the help of family and friends once we do get the buildings. Let me just say this is a great learning experiences for me. Check back for pictures. Until we meet again have a wonderful day. Lisa

Happy Birthday Mom
I just wanted to wish my mother a Very Happy Birthday! My brother Mark and I are planning on taking her out for dinner tonight. I just wish that my brother David could join us, he lives in Phoenix, so would be hard for him to be here. He will be in our hearts.

Friday night out with Mom
Last night my mother and I went to see the "Church Basement Ladies" Featuring William Christopher AKA "Father Mulcahy" from M*A*S*H. It was the BEST play I have ever been to. It is based in 1964 about 4 church ladies and the things that go on while cooking in the church basement. If you ever get a chance to see this production by all means go. Sorry I could not take pictures, they were not allowed.

Farming, and Rain
Farming started to get into full swing here last week and now has come to a halt because of rain and more rain to come. We did manage to get the FFA beans cut. This is the first year they have had a crop. The field did well I am sure the FFA will be please. They are having an antique tractor show coming up in the 17th. Tyler is very active in the FFA, so this has been some new things for them to do for fund raisers.
As many of you know Rick and I have been trying to buy 2 buildings in Goreville. As you remember this has been going on since April. We were to have signed the papers on Sept 30. Well that did not happen. I had to get an attorney to find out what the hold up is and to try and get this done. In the mean time I am in the process of trying to find somewhere to have an auction. The building we are storing the items in is over fulling.
I will keep you posted. Have a good week. Lisa
